A move after thirty or forty years in the same house is not the same job as a move between apartments. There is more to sort, more that carries meaning, and no reason to rush it. We work at the pace the day needs, and we do not put anyone in the position of deciding about their mother's china while a crew stands waiting.
Most senior moves are downsizing: a house into an apartment, or into a retirement community that has its own rules about move-in windows and elevator bookings. We deal with the building directly so the family does not have to chase paperwork on top of everything else.
Family often coordinates these moves from out of state. We are used to that — we will send photos, confirm what is on the truck, and speak to whoever needs to be in the loop rather than expecting one person to be at both addresses at once.

Yes. Most communities have set move-in windows and elevator rules; we contact them ahead so the crew arrives inside their window with the right paperwork.
Can family coordinate the move from another state?
Yes, and it is common. We keep whoever needs to know in the loop by phone and photos, and we do not need the family present at both addresses.
Can you help with what is not moving?
We can coordinate donation runs for what stays behind. We do not haul junk, but we will help make sure things end up somewhere sensible.
